24x30x12 Raised Center Barn
for Daniel Banks in Plane, KY
When Daniel Banks reached out about a 24×30×12 raised center barn, he and his wife already had a vision—and a checklist.
They needed a reliable structure for day-to-day function, built tough for Kentucky weather, and clean enough in looks to feel proud of from the driveway. They weren’t just building for now; they were investing in something that would last.
Daniel wanted the process to be simple. And that’s exactly what we aimed to deliver—from the first quote to the final panel.
Daniel’s Feedback
After the project wrapped, Emilee shared:
“I highly recommend American Metal Garages! I worked with Whitney and the whole process was so easy and smooth. Once the wife and I decided on our type of building and placed the order—wow, what an easy process!
Our site was prepped, foundation was ready, and after we sent in pictures, we got a call saying our building was being made. A week later we had an install date!
The crew arrived and got right to it—professional, fast, and solid workmanship. I’ll be giving 5 stars to this awesome group of people, and I’ll be ordering another building for my shop soon. Thank you, Whitney and Brandon!”

STEP 1: GETTING THE RIGHT STRUCTURE DIALED IN
From the start, our team focused on what Daniel and his wife actually needed the building to do—not just the specs on paper.
This barn wasn’t just for storage. It needed lean-tos for extra side coverage, a tall center for vertical clearance, and a layout that worked well for moving equipment in and out from both ends. Durability and insulation mattered too—so we made sure nothing got overlooked before locking in the order.
STEP 2: CUSTOMIZING WITH OUR 3D DESIGN TOOL
Using our 3D visualizer, Daniel and our team fine-tuned the barn layout panel by panel:
Door placement for easy access from front and rear
Center barn height for airflow and clearance
Lean-to pitch, walls, and enclosure setup
2″ fiberglass insulation for temperature control year-round
Black wainscot and trim for a clean, two-tone look
With everything visualized and confirmed, we set the timeline and moved forward—coordinating install to match his site readiness.
STEP 3: INSTALLATION THAT DELIVERED
Once the build was scheduled, our install crew arrived right on time—and got straight to work.
Everything came together exactly as planned. The framing, paneling, doors, and lean-to tie-ins were handled with precision and speed. The full insulation install across the entire barn (including both lean-tos) was done cleanly, helping Daniel create a functional space ready for year-round use
He told us the craftsmanship and professionalism stood out—and we’re proud to hear it.

Why This Project Works
Daniel’s project is a great example of what happens when design meets clarity.
He and his wife knew what they wanted—a versatile raised-center barn with lean-tos, full insulation, and door access front and back—and worked closely with our team to lock it all in. Because we took the time to match the layout to the real-world use, the result wasn’t just a good-looking barn—it’s practical for daily use, easy to maintain, and built to serve their property for years to come.
Everything was lined up before the crew arrived. And when they did? The install was smooth, fast, and exactly what Daniel expected.
